The City of Westmoreland and the Westmoreland Area Chamber of Commerce will host the
First Annual Owen Bradley Music Festival
Saturday September 7, 2013

OWEN BRADLEY
(October 21, 1915-January 7, 1998)
Owen Bradley was born on Trammel Creek Road in Westmoreland, TN. A producer of many Country Music Legends,  Patsy Cline, Jim Reeves, Brenda Lee, Loretta Lynn, Conway Twitty and others.  Bradley is known to be the “King of the Nashville Sound,” as well as the, “The man who built the first music structure on Music Row.”  Owen Bradley was elected to the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1974.

A Bronze  Statue of Owen Bradley seated at a Bronze Piano is located at the entrance of Music Row between 16th Avenue and South Division Street at The Owen Bradley Park.

 The dedication of a Historical Marker for Owen Bradley to be placed at intersection of State Highways 52 and 31, and a brick placement into the Veterans Memorial Park will be among the Owen Bradley Music Festival Events

 The Owen Bradley Music Festival is accepting Vendors, Entertainers, and Bands to perform in the Parks and Gazebo, and Talent Search Entrants.  For forms and information, Call 615-644-3017 for talent information, Call Rita 615-644-2203 or 615-388-1331 for vendor information.
